GemmaDB is a system to analyze, store, and integrate clinical, genetic, lab, and other omics datasets for internal use at the Centre for Chronic Immunodeficiency in Freiburg.
The GenIA database is a unique place to centralize and harmonize knowledge on all genetically driven immune-related disorders and to catalog any patient and variant ever published in the literature (www.geniadb.org).
The SHaReD platform is a system to store and integrate multi-omics datasets generated for diverse cohorts included in the research projects of the RESIST consortium at the Hanover Medical School (www.sharedresist.dev).
We study the molecular mechanism of ADA2 in immune cells, with a particular focus on its role in nucleic-acid sensing. We combine cellular and molecular biology approaches with ex-vivo experimental immunology to understand the impact of ADA2 deficiency at a systems level.
Vaccination in early life often shows limited efficacy. Our research investigates how the microbiota around birth influence the immune response to Influenza A virus (IAV) vaccination, with a particular focus on the cells and pathways driving the germinal center reaction.
